Stonewall Democrats of Western New York  

With Democratic Gubernatiorial (and pro-equality) candidate Andrew Cuomo running for the Governor's office this year, the race for who will win his current office as Attorney General is shaping up to be one of the most heated state-wide primary contests.

5 candidates are currenting running to be the cheif legal officer in New York State. They are: State Senator Eric Schneiderman, Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice, former NYS Insurance Superintendant Eric Dinallo and State Assemblyman Richard Brodsky.

SDWNY has reached out to all candidates in the race, and was initially reached out to by the Schneiderman, Rice and Coffee campaigns over the past year.

At our upcoming meeting this Tuesday we plan to consider endorsement for the office. With no candidates or representatives able to attend, and due to the fact this is a state-wide office, we will be considering endorsement based on the questionnaires each candidate has returned. There will be some copies available at the meeting, but you may read them in full prior to the meeting here:
