Of Note: Crystal Peoples-Stokes voted for the Marriage Equality bill in 2011; however, she did not when the bill came for a vote in 2009. 

In 2011, Crystal Peoples-Stokes, who is a Democrat in name, recorded a campaign robo-dialer for Republican billionaire Chris Jacobs, who was running against the pro-LGBTQ candidate, Maria Whyte. 

Stonewall Democrats of Western New York is the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Democratic voice in western New York. Our mission is to advocate for the LGBT community within the WNY area government and the Democratic Party.
